Blast from the past
A school alumni reunion is always a time of mixed emotions, nostalgia and joy. And it was exactly what the class of ’75 from Lawrence School, Lovedale, experienced when they came together for a reunion.
Thirty-five years after they left school, the group came together from across the country and many from abroad.
After spending a day of reminiscing and reliving their carefree days at school, the group gathered for an evening of pure fun.
The evening was spent recollecting many happy events and the twists and turns that life took over the years. ���Most of us haven���t been in touch for the last thirty-five years. Life has been good and each one had so many stories to narrate. It was also an opportunity for us to exchange notes and reconnect with those we spent some of the best days of our lives with,��� said Captain Arjun Nair.
Besides the fun and frolic, the group raised funds to feed the poor and will be working with a charitable group in the state. At the end of the day it was quite clear, as the saying goes, ���The difference between school and life ��� in school, you���re taught a lesson and then given a test. In life, you���re given a test that teaches you a lesson.���
