A rocking evening in Chennai

The hall reverberated with some rocking music and there was just no stopping the music aficionados.
It was the launch of the band Rahlaap and their maiden concert in the city saw a huge group of musicians and singers turning up in full force to wish their singer friends Rahul Nambiar, Aalap Raju and their band.
The evening started with a special screening of wishes from the band members��� friends which soon turned into an occasion of music and joi de vivre.
But the kodak moment was when all the musicians in the auditorium, took to the stage to unveil the logo of the band. The loud cheer and applause among the audience, filled the air with revelry.
Rahul Nambiar kick-started the performance with a soothing romantic number Khwabon Ki Manzilen followed by Tamil and English numbers.
However, it was the question and answer session by Rahul and Aalap, that evoked laughter among the audience as the funny answers provided the comic relief.
With an engaging array of melodious and groovy numbers, the evening was indeed a treat to the ears and music enthusiasts couldn���t have asked for more.
