World Earth Day celebrations

As a part of World Earth Day celebrations, a school here conducted special morning assembly to create awareness about the necessity of conserving the beauty of

mother

earth. Also, a rally which saw kids holding placards displaying messages was organised on the occasion. While hazardous effects of using plastic bags was the main theme, the students chanted slogans during the rally such as ‘go green before green goes’, ‘save earth’ etc

said that the students made effective use of props and posters showing various human activities which have spoiled the beauty of our planet earth. During the special assembly students of class X and XI performed a street play on the theme of ‘Save Water-Save Earth’.
