Talent hunt, outdoor activities mark Kids' Olympics

To engage

underprivileged

children and schoolkids in outdoor games,

KidO 2020

was organised recently. The event done by

Rotaract

Club Chandigarh Himalayan at Sports Complex, Sector 7, had over 520 participants.

Nine games and four talent hunts were organized for the kids from orphanages and schools. A lot of people including a gold medalist swimmer in South Asian Games,

Chahat Arora

and Shiwani Saini, actress were present there. Months prior to the event, the volunteers had visited various places to sensitise youngsters about the planned event. Later, warm outfits and other gifts were given to the children present there.
