Sonia Mann is happier doing Punjabi videos
Sonia Mann, who started her journey in 2006, feels blessed to have been a part of the industry. While working with artists from Punjabi film industry like the veteran Harbhajan Maan, and new age artists like Raftaar, Sidhu Moose Wala, Mankirt Aulakh and now
Having worked in Bollywood, Sonia recently also grooved to the tunes of rapper Bohemia. But, when she first met him, she had different expectations. "Naturally people think that the bigger celebrity you are, the more arrogant or egoistic you get. But, that's not the case with Salman Khan or Hrithik Roshan. And now when I met Bohemia, I was absolutely floored by his humbleness and down to earth attitude. This just goes on to prove that for real people, success doesn’t get to their head," she says.
Sonia, who started her career with Harbhajan Maan, and has also worked in Tochan from Moose Wala, is humbled by the experience of working with soulful people. "I started my career with Harbhajan Maan saab and I knew instantly that there's a soulful connection. I am a very positive person and like to connect with positive people. When you see some people, you feel an instant warmth or 'nigg' with them, and Bohemia of course being the king of Punjabi rap, emanates that aura and 'nigg'."
Sonia however, wants to stay secretive about her for future projects, if any with Bohemia. "Right now, there's nothing to reveal, but hopefully there will be something soon with him." – Faguni Verma

, the actress believes that, “music videos have a broader scope in Punjab than films.” Speaking to us in Chandigarh, she explains, "Films take too much time for getting on screens but, for a music video shoot, you would need hardly two days’ time to shoot, and see the results on screen pretty fast.
