Poshan Maah campaign dwells on under-nutrition, anemia

Touching several objectives of the ongoing Poshan Maah, including reducing stunting, under-nutrition, anemia, the UT administration is holding several programmes, activities to create awareness. Recently, the department of social welfare organized an activity which had a drawing competition, local leader meetings, hand wash, hygiene, complimentary feeding and water sanitation etc.
The event touched various areas of Chandigarh including Dhanas, Sector 41, Badheri, Burail, Raipur Khurad, Raipur Kalan, Kishangarh, Daria, Vikasnagar, Palsora, etc.The department also organized a cycle rally in the Ram Darbar area to convey the message of the importance of right nutrition, right food, clean water and healthy practices.
