The Jaspal Bhatti humour fest over the weekend brought together comic achievers from various genres, including social media, TV, films and live shows. On the concluding day, Savita Bhatti, wife of Jaspal Bhatti, revived memories of the late satirist by putting up a skit on the lines of his famous, Flop show. Chownki no 10, as the play was called, was a satire on Punjab police, an idea burrowed from Bhatti’s last film, Mahaul Theek Hai.

The actors of this play, also reunited the core team of Flop Show including Savita, Vinod Sharma, Kuldeep Sharma and Brijesh Ahuja (singer).

Among the others who performed were names like Abhishek Walia, (winner of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge), TV actor Chandan Prabhakar, mimicry artists Shyam Rangeela and Sanket Bhosale, stand-up comedians Jaspreet Singh, Parvinder Singh, Maheep Singh and Abhishek Upmanyu, and actor Binnu Dhillon.
