Instead, I have made my own homemade desi workout equipment with plastic bottles, cement tiles, bricks, tyres, tubes in the tyres etc., and used to practice with these equipment and all bodyweight exercises."
Commenting on why he took this challenge, he says, "I did this because I want to change the thinking of the youth who think that they cannot get fit without a gym. I just want to convey that we can achieve our goals without practicing in the gym. If you have passion to do something, you can do it anywhere. You don't need all the luxuries in the beginning to start your work, all you nee is hard work and complete dedication. By doing so, luxuries will come to you on their own."

That said, Singh clarifies that he has nothing against the gyms or that he doesn't like practicing in them. "I am not saying that gym is not good for us. I just want to set an example that if you have the will, you don't need a gym to get fit."
Singh, who has a healthy social media following in fitness, says that he eventually sees himself creating his space among the big league of names in the fitness industry.
"It has been three years since I started my journey into fitness and I am a three times World Record Holder in Fitness, second runner up of the show, Punjabiya di dadagiri. Slowly I am inching towards my goals. Now this journey is not only mine, but many the youngsters have started practicing the way I do. So, now I have to push myself even harder and achieve my target for those who have trust on me and my hard work."
Ask him how he developed physical strength without a gym and he says, "In earlier days there were no gyms but even then our wrestlers and pehlwans used to practice at their home, in fields or anywhere in the open ground using traditional methods. If they could, so can we."Singh's diet comprises of chapattis, vegetables, pulses, salad or whatever is made at home for other family members, "but I include dahi, ghee/makhan, lassi in my daily diet," he says.
