online. With art providing a glimpse into the history of its times, it is important that art forms stay alive in the pandemic. The artists have always been a glimmer of hope and have given survival a new vision. One such initiative in this direction was taken by

Pracheen Kala Kendra

, Chandigarh in collaboration with an art company, that hosted an

online art exhibition

from July 10 July 20.
This national online Art Camp and Exhibition was curated by

Hirdey Kant

(Chandigarh) and Manmeet Kaur (Chandigarh), in which 10 prominent national artists,

Bharvi Trivedi

(Ahmedabad), Indu Tripathy (New Delhi),

Kanchan Verma

(Chandigarh), Meghansh (Gurgaon), Preeti Mishra (Himachal), Renu Bala (Punjab), Santha KV (Kerala), Shyam Sharma (Ghaziabad), Sonam Jain (New Delhi), and

Surpal Singh Slathia

(Jammu) took part in an online discussion. They executed art works for the virtual exhibition, which were displayed online on July 21. The artist expressed their inner self, their soul through works of art.
This group of artists wanted to reach out to the world with the message that we can remain connected through art.
