. Two groups from Bolangir perform

Ghuduki nacha

, a tribal dance and

, another folk art.

“While the exhibition inside is about paintings, the live performances outside the building are also tribal and folk arts that are on display for visitors. This is an attempt to provide different kind of experience to visitors and attract more people to the museum,” said Bhagyalipi Malla, director of the museum.

“When we entered inside the museum gate, we could see a group of artistes performing Ghodanacha near the gate and as we moved towards the building, we could see a group pf tribal people performing Ghuduki. This is quite an interesting experience for us. It’s a good way for the museum authorities to give visitors a chance to watch live folk and tribal dance and music inside the museum campus,” said Anupama Rout, a visitor.
