Anubhav Mohanty and his estranged wife actress
Varsha Priyadarshini doesn’t seem like settling down any time soon, as both of them are bringing fresh allegations against each other, despite their cases are pending with various courts in Delhi and Cuttack.
The actress yesterday lodged a complaint with Purighat
police
in Cuttack against her husband of circulating a
video
to defame her. The alleged video shows Anubhav arguing with the actress at their home.
After Varsha lodged the complaint, police have started investigating into the matter and have recorded her statement. Police team also visited Anubha’s parental house, where the actor stays with his parents. Varsha also resides separately in the same building.
Meanwhile, Anubhav also has written a letter to the DG police requesting to look into a
viral audio
that he claims tried to defame him. This alleged audio clip has been circulating for around two months.“I feel there is danger to my family. Besides, it should be clear whether that audio has been made by Varsha and her family or anyone else,” wrote Anubhav.
It’s to be noted that Anubhav had earlier filed a
divorce
petition in a
family court
in Delhi and later, Varsha filed a domestic violence case with the SDJM Court in Cuttack. Besides, Varsha had appealed before the Supreme Court for transferring the Divorce petition to Cuttack. But the apex court put a stay on the divorce case and referred the petition to Supreme Court Mediation Centre.
