Sabyasachi Mishra recalls how Bijay Mohanty treated him like a son

Actor Sabyasachi Mishra is among those actors who have been active in the industry for the past 15 years. While paying his

tribute

to Bijay Mohanty he remembered how he has acted in 50 per cent of

films

in which Bijay has played his father’s role.

“In 50 per cent of my films, we have worked as a

father-son

duo. During our long shooting schedules, he would treat everybody on the set as family members. We have, no doubt, lost a good artiste as well as a great human being,” said Sabya.



He also remembers his childhood days when he would watch Bijay Mohanty on television. “I, like many my age, have grown up watching him on television and in theatres. I had never thought that one day I would share screen with him. When we first acted in a film, I was extremely nervous to work alongside him. With time, I don’t know how I became like a son to him from a nervous co-actor. He was a

kind-hearted

human being,” Sabya said.

today to pay his tribute to the legendary actor.
