Actress Poonam Mishra believes in spending the

New Year

members. The actress, who is waiting for her two films to hit

theatres

next year, told us that she is not a party animal and loves spending time with her parents on such occasions.

However, the last week of the year will be very hectic for Poonam since she would be attending several events and programmes before December 31. “I have a close friend’s wedding on Christmas. I will be really busy, enjoying the ceremony and all. From Christmas Day till New Year’s Eve, I have few events to attend. But like every year, I will ensure that I spend the night of December 31 at home so that I can start the New Year with my family. I don’t like attending parties that much. Even if I do attend parties organised by

friends

or relatives, I make sure that I am back home early,” said the actress.

Poonam also wants to be choosy in selecting films in

Ollywood

and is also hopeful that she will bag some projects on Hindi television next year. She has also has started her own YouTube channel. “People want to know about a celebrity, and I try to bring these contents to them. It has been gaining popularity of late. Besides, my aim is to start new things in the New Year, and I am hopeful about these projects. Let’s see what happens in the coming year,” she said.
