Play on evils of liquor consumption runs full house

A play was staged at Bhanjakala Mandap by cultural organisation, Disha, on Monday to create awareness on the ill-effects of liquor consumption. The event was held as part of the annual function of the organisation that performs plays and indulges in cultural activities. The play Kali Ra Narka Danda was a satirical take on how liquor and other substance abuse has been ruining the youngsters lives and they are destroying themselves. Directed by Narayan Chandra Ojha, the play enthralled the audience as well as educated them about this social evil. The young members of the organisation enacted their parts in the play to a full house.
