National Open Athletics Championships 2018 concludes

The 58^thNational Open Athletics Championships 2018 concluded yesterday at Kalinga Stadium. The sporting event had started on Monday with athletes from different parts of the country taking part in various track and field events. Railways emerged champions and services were runners up. Kerala long jumper M Shreeshankar and Haryana runner girl Anjali Devi Kundu were the best men and women players of the championship respectively.National records were also made at the event. Finance and excise minister Shashi Bhushan Behera, sports minister Chandra Sarathi Behera and sports secretary Vishal Dev were present at the valedictory function.
