, was held at the press club recently. In attendance were the cast and crew of the film, among whom were the two newcomer lead actors.

Anikriti Chouhan

, an actress from Chhatisgarh, along with veteran actors Jeeban Panda, Puspa Panda, Sankar, T Appa Rao, Rohit, Hadu, Lina and Asis Sendre and Puja Dewangan, both from Chattisgarh.

“It’s a teenage love story and I am hopeful that people, mostly youngsters, will love it. Young film viewers like such love stories where there is an equal amount of sorrow, suspense, comedy, tragedy and hurdles for the protagonists,” said S Dillip Panda, the film’s director, who also has written the screenplay.

Anikrita, who has several films in

Chhatishgarh

under her belt, said it’s her first Odia movie and she is very excited about the project. “I’m happy to be part of the Odia film industry and this role is quite different from the roles I have played till date. I’ll give my 100 percent for this romantic flick,” said the actress.

Even lead pair Chinmayee and Debraj expressed their excitement. Chinmayee is also the presenter of this movie. K Balaram Das has written the story, while Rajani Ranjan has penned the dialogues. Bibhuti Bhusan Gadnaik is set to compose the film’s music. Shooting of the film has already started at various places across the state and some portions of the movie will be shot outside Odisha also.
