Mahurat of Odia film held

A new age story of love and betrayal is the central theme of an upcoming

Odia film

. The

mahurat

of this film titled as,

Yaar Gaddar

, was held at a temple in Cuttack amidst the presence of its cast and crew.

The film is going to be directed by

Jagat Ranjan Mohakud

. Several new comers

Roshan Nanda

and

Sambit Kumar

along with

Sonam Das

and Pragyan Pradhan are playing lead roles in this flick that deals with a love-triangle.


“The film deals with friendship and love. Two central characters are bound by strong friendship while one of them is in a love tangle between two girls. At the same time, there are certain unforeseen events happening that creates the confusion and again things settle,” said the director adding that this is not inspired from any films or novels. “Since it’s an original thought and the story is original, we are hopeful that it would be accepted by Odia cine lovers,” he added.

Biranchi Samal has written dialogues while Bikas Das is going to direct its music. Biranchi, Bijay Malla and

Bapu Goswami

have written the lyrics. Asit Pati, Kirti Mohanty, Goodly, Ashok Das, Priya, Suman, Anthony Thomas, Tapas Padhi, Dr Akshay along with child artists Prince and Lipun play vital roles in this flick.
