Debjani is returning to films after a while, while Sambit has had a busy year. He was busy shooting for two films this year, which are releasing in 2020. They were last seen together in the movie, Film.

Speaking about the film, the director said, “The story of the film is all about the life of the protagonist, who gets punished for a past mistake. It’s a romantic thriller full of suspense.”

Ramesh Barik, a creative associate, told us that the film is being shot in two phases. “The first phase started on December 22 and the second phase will start from January 4. The film is being shot in and around Bhubaneswar, while the songs will be shot in a few attractive locations outside Odisha, including the Eco Park in Kolkata,” he added.

The movie also stars veteran actors like Pradyumna Lenka, Sujit Paikray, Tapi Mishra and Pruthiraj. Abhijit Majumdar has scored the music and Nirmal Nayak has penned the lyrics. Leading singers of the industry like
