in the lead was held in the auditorium of a private university in the city recently. The film,

, a director-cum-additional secretary in the state department of culture, and directed by

Sudhakar Basant

.

The mahurat was attended by writer

Itirani Samant

and Kuna Tripathy, chairman of

Odisha Film Development Corporation

(OFDC), along with the cast and crew of the film. Samant and Tripathy gave the clap to start the film’s shoot in presence of the director and popular music director Abhijit Majumdar.

Speaking to us, Das said, “The story is related to today’s young generation and is about love, lust, break-up and reconciliation.”

The film also stars Kuna Tripathy, Saroj Das, Nonsense Mani and Pratibha Panda, among others. Ajit Kishor Dash is the director of photography. “The shooting starts very soon in and around Bhubaneswar. Some portions may be shot outside the state,” said Pranay Jethi, media coordinator of the project.
