Cultural programme on lord Jagannath
ShreeJgannathayan, a monthly cultural programme based on Lord Jagannath and the rituals associated with him, was held at Rabindra Mandap yesterday.
ShreeJgannathayan, a monthly cultural programme based on Lord Jagannath and the rituals associated with him, was held at Rabindra Mandap yesterday. The event was organised by Odisha Sahitya Academy and Odisha Sangeet Natak Academy on behalf of the Odisha Language, Literature and Culture department. The event saw devotional songs being played by artistes and Odissi dance depicting stories of the Lord being performed on stage.
Besides, a play was also staged on the occasion.
