Chirkut’s music launch was a fun-filled affair

, has done a lot of experimentation with its music, using the traditional themes of Odisha to give people a different kind of musical experience. The

music

release function of the

film

was held in a city hotel recently. The evening saw the cast and crew, along with the music team of the film, entertain the audience.
Talking about the music, director Papu Pom Pom said all the songs are different and belong to various genres.

“People will get to listen to peppy dance numbers, classical romantic songs, sweet melodies and kawali. More importantly, we have a song that shows the sadness of a woman while leaving her house after marriage, which is known as ‘kaandanaa’,” said Papu.
The film has five songs and the director himself has composed all the songs while veteran music director Abhijit Majumdar has arranged the songs. While Papu has sung the title track, Debesh Pati, Bishnu Mohan Kar,

Antara Chakrabarty

, Swayam Padhi,

Aseema Panda

and a few newcomers have lent their voices to the other songs.
The film’s production house also announced the first shows on the first day of the movie across the state will be free for filmgoers.
