Bidyaran couldn’t be released during the traditional Odia festival due to the ongoing

Covid-19

crisis and related

lockdown

. However, a teaser of the film was released recently on the social media. The makers are hopeful that the film can release during Dussehra if the situation improves.


“A portion of the film, around 10-15 days shoot, couldn’t be completed after the restrictions were imposed. Since the lockdown has eased and unlocking has started, television shooting units has already started taking all precautions. Our team is trying to get permission from the competent authority to carry out the shooting in nearby areas with limited people and following all precautionary measures. Let’s see when the film shooting will be allowed,” said Babushaan.The film stars Babushaan, along with

"We are hopeful that film shooting would start soon, as authorities are unlocking various areas slowly. We, as filmmakers, would definitely try to follow all norms while carrying out our work," said the director.
