, Odisha. The film is based on a true story, which revolves around a parcel bombing in Bolangir district of Odisha. It had killed a newly-wed man and his grandmother and injured the bride. The accused in this case is an English professor of a nearby college, who committed the crime due to professional rivalry with the groom’s mother. The incident had rocked the entire state then.

Odia actor Manoj Mishra, who was with Atul in Mumbai during the dubbing, said that the post-production work was on recently and Atul had to speak in Odia for the film. “He has done a good job in the film. He dubbed for himself. He is a thinking man’s actor and it reflects in his work. People will like his accent in the film,” shared Manoj. “I was also there to dub my portion in the film. I’m playing a professor and there are some scenes between both of us,” he added. It was Manoj who had contacted Atul and other Bollywood actors for the film. They are his friends and seniors at the National School of Drama.

The film is being made in Odia and Telugu and is directed by National Award-winning filmmaker, Rajesh Touchriver. Besides Atul, it has Bollywood actors like

Yaspal Sharma

and a few South Indian actors. Odia actors like Anu Choudhury and Puspa Panda are also playing important roles in the murder mystery. Atul plays the Odisha Crime Branch head who had cracked the case. The shooting for the film took place mainly in Bhubaneswar, with some portions being shot in Bolangir district.
