Actor-turned-politician Akash Dasnayak is all set to return to the big screen after almost two years and is busy shooting for two films. The shooting for the first film, Prema Na Pagalpan, has crossed the halfway mark, while the mahurat of the second film, Mahabahu, was held recently.
The actor is ecstatic about both the projects coming to him at the right time. Talking about his comeback, Akash said Prema Na Pagalpan is his first solo lead film after more than three years. His last film as the male protagonist was Just Mohabat and in Four Idiots, he was one of the lead actors. “In the past five years, when I was an MLA, I could hardly get time for films. During that time, I had done four or five films. Now, I am looking for good scripts and am open to more projects,” he told us.
In Prema Na Pagalpan, his love interest in
Lipssa Mishra
. “It’s a love story that I feel would connect to a certain section of society,” he said, adding that the shooting is being done with a skeletal crew and the team is strictly following
Covid-19
SOPs.
