A celebration of the Sanskrit language

Sanskrit teachers in the state celebrated Sanskrit Language Day yesterday at Jayadev Bhavan. Finance and Excise minister Shashi Bhusan Behera attended the event as the chief guest and spoke to the gathering. The event is organised by the Utkal Sanskrit Teachers Association. Not only were the teachers felicitated at the event but also cultural programmes held.Even School and Mass Education minister Badri Narayan Patra praised the efforts and highlighted the greatness of this old language that’s still alive in few parts of the country.
