The markets of Bhopal – big and small – are all stocked up with the latest festive items, from diyas and lanterns, to LED and Chinese lights, besides dry fruits and trendy clothing, and people are flocking to them in huge numbers to get their fill. “This year, we started our Diwali shopping with some decorative items, and I am surprised to see the variety that has flooded the market. There’s something to suit everyone’s budget and needs,” said student Ashi Dubey.
