The story revolves around Gyanrashi, a fake baba who fools villagers through his false predictions. He fells in love with a girl names Madan Sundari and uses black magic to attract her. But the disciple of Gyanrashi writes the name of Sundari’s mother on the chit due to which the mother develops feelings for him. The play highlights the deep roots of superstitions which are still alive in the society.
