Queer community member Prakash Jha says that acceptance has grown in the city

Community member, farmer and educationist Prakash Jha says, “A lot has changed in the city since now people are taking interest in this by themselves. Earlier if a gay is going out where people hang out then it was considered as a crime but now we have become comfortable. I can hold my partner’s hand and respectfully say that yes we are in a relationship. The biggest thing which has happened this year is acceptance. During the 2019 pride march too we saw a lot of new people joining us with their allies.”
