Play on Saadat Hasan Manto's life staged

The third day of the three-day theatre festival was organised by the Adarsh Shiksha avam Samiti at Shaheed Bhawan, culminated with the play Padhiye Kalima which is about Saadat Hasan Manto. It is during the time when Indian was partitioned. It is a love story between Manto and a married woman. The woman says that she won’t come to him till his husband dies and after some time he is killed by someone and the lovers unite.The play showcases interesting incidents which happened at that time and the way people dealt with it. The play ends at a note which no one would have imagined.
