Third day of Theatre Olympics brings ghosts and lonely room

On the third day of

8th Theatre Olympics

, Prem Ki Bhooth Katha and

Lonely Room

were staged.

French

artists Eloise Carles and Flavia Bertram presented a corporeal mime act Lonely Room at

Ravindra Bhawan

, which portrayed the mindset of two women. One runs after the materialistic things, and in the long run, ends up becoming lonely while the other woman wants to get free from all the humanly attachments which are holding her tightly.


The second play Prem Ki Bhooth Katha which was in Hindi, directed by

Dinesh Khanna

, was staged at

Bharat Bhawan

. An innocent soldier sentenced to hang until death for a murder that he did commit. In reality, he was with his girlfriend on that day, but he does not tell the court about her for the fear of humiliation. On that day another soldier died. A few years later a journalist was working to prove the existence of ghosts. During his investigation, he stumbles upon a ghost who solves the mystery of the murder.
