Kashmiri play staged in the city
After many days of clampdown in the valley, life is restoring to normal for many. For the Abinayan series of Tribal Museum in the city Imtiaz Ahmed Bagath and his group travelled from Kashmir to bring their folk theatre called Bhand Pather to the audience of Madhya Pradesh. The play titled Shikargaah Pather was staged in the city this evening.
It is a fantastical tale that follows the story of a woodcutter who goes to the jungle to collect some wood for himself and family.

But the forest is protected by supernatural spirit who doesn't allow him to harm the flora of the place. Similarly, a hunter is also turned down by the protectors of the forest, among who is the King of the province. Hence, the king is declared the protector of the forest and its residents.
