Under the direction of Preeti Jha Tiwari, two Jataka Tales were staged in the form of a play in the city. The first act was about a sage who helps a woman who is harassed by villagers. The sage enlightens the hearts of the people by telling them about Lord Buddha. Then he offers his body to a hungry tigress that recently gave birth to her cubs. The next act is about a Brahman who has a big family and he faces a lot of crisis. After some time he dies and comes back to see his family as a swan. He gets disheartened to see the condition in which his family lives and thus offers them a golden feather. His family becomes so greedy that they try to get all his feathers at once.
