Freedom fighter Ratan Kumar’s life showcased at Swaraj Bhawan

Marking the one hundred and third birth anniversary of Madhya Pradesh’s

freedom fighter Ratan Kumar

who played a prominent role in the Indian freedom struggle and the merger movement of Madhya Pradesh an exhibition was organised at

Swaraj Bhawan

. The exhibition was organised by the

Bhopal Swatantra Adolan Smarak Samiti

who have secured a lot of data in terms of letters and pictures. More than a hundred pictures and hand written letters were displayed which told about the life of Ratan Kumar. It also had a lot of pictures from the merger movement and the letters written to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The documents showcasing Gandhi ji’s visit to the city was one of the interesting elements of the presentation.
