The third day of the Bhopal Literature Festival witnessed the discussion of the book 'Sridevi and Eternal Inspiration'. Writer Satyarth Nayak said that
Sridevi was the first female superstar of the male dominating box office who beat the famous actors Kamal Haasan,
Rajinikanth,
Amitabh Bachchan,
Vinod Khanna and many others from South Industry to Bollywood. He pointed out that in the 80s, actresses were seen only as a means of entertainment.
At that time, Sridevi stepped into Bollywood from Himmatwala in 1983 and changed the definition of actresses in Indian cinema by acquiring the name of an iconic screen goddess. Sridevi comedy, dance, acting was well versed in every field. Sridevi used to be very aware of her name and importance. For which at one time he was refused to work with a big actor like Amitabh Bachchan. Satyarth Nayak told that there was a lack of friends in Sridevi's life, so she considered the camera as her best friend.
