Banyan, Amla, Peepal, Ashok & Bel trees have unique medicinal properties - Dilip Singh

section, while maintaining social distancing planted the trees (Banyan, Amla, Peepal, Ashok, Bel etc.) in near the Office premises of the museum.

On this occasion, Dilip Singh, Joint Director (A&S), IGRMS said that, A scientific analysis of the Panchavati mentioned in the Skandha Purana makes it clear that these five trees have unique medicinal properties, who which can diagnose all diseases. Amla is the richest source of vitamin C and is a great remedy to make the body resistant to diseases. Banyan milk is very strong. There is a unique increase in biographical power and there is a communication of new consciousness in the body. The Peepal is a pain relief antidote and inflammatory to relieve blood disorders. Bel tree is a good medicine for stomach diseases. Ashok is the main medicinal tree to remove female disorders.
J. Baiju, Administrative Officer, IGRMS, said that, Our Prime Minister and the Minister of Culture called upon the planting of these five trees Banyan, Amla, Peepal, Ashoka, Bel which accurately represent the herbal heritage of our country. In this context, today the above plants were planted by the Administration and Public Relations Section in the office premises of the Museum.

, P.R.O., IGRMS said that, India is known as Ayurveda in the world. Every citizen should plant these five trees to keep Ayurveda alive.

The officials and the staff of the IGRMS also planted plants of their choice and the Administrative Officer of the IGRMS, Baiju expressed its gratitude to the people for their participation in the Sankalp Parv.

The program was conducted while maintaining the norms of social distancing and was coordinated by the Horticulture, Administration and Public Relation Section of the IGRMS.
