'Advita' evokes culture of India at Nutan College

'Advita' the annual cultural fest held at Sarojini Naidu Girls College (Nutan College) saw a cultural extravaganza in this years edition. After a formal opning ceremony by CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, various competitions kicked off the gala. Most attractive amongst them remained group dance competition, which brought multi-hued performances on the college stage.About sixteen groups took part in the competition and displayed various colours of folk and mythology fused freestyle dances. With Shiv Baarat, Shiv Tandaav and Raasleela of Lord Krishna, it appeared like the gods and goddesses descended upon Earth. besides these folk dances from Maharashtra, Punjab, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Gujarat and UP were also presented, much to the delight of the audience.Kathak by Eishita Lal at the opening ceremony
