The emperor’s new clothes

Palace Grounds looked like a fantasy land, with men in princely suits flanking the entrance with majestic torches.
The palace itself wore a festive look for the birthday celebrations of Srikantadatta Wadiyar. The birthday boy, sporting a natty suit, received all his guests. And then came the big, fat fashion show. This has to be the longest fashion event Bangalore���s ever witnessed.There was Faith, Priya Nayak, Vyjayanthi, Rakesh Chengappa, Roshan Isaac and Raghu Mukherjee (after a long hiatus) parading down the ramp in Wadiyar creations. The last round had models matching their steps to Om Jai Jagadish!
We caught the Maharaja having a hearty dinner with his family post the event. How sweet!
