Sunday morning saw members of music band Swarathma put forth a unique performance to protect more than 170 trees at Indiranagar BDA complex and raise awareness about the environment. Plans are afloat that authorities would soon convert the area into a shopping complex, and in the process get rid of all the trees there. The troupe — comprising Vasu Dixit, Sanjeev Nayak, Jishnu Dasgupta, Varun Murali — played acoustic concerts under the trees, in an effort to share their love for them and save them.
