Sandalwood achievers felicitated at Chamundeshwari Studio

It was a memorable evening on Saturday when the National Award-winning artistes were honoured by the Department of Information and Public Relations and Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy at the Chamundeshwari Studio. The programme was dedicated specially to the winners of the 65th National Film Awards.
It was a proud moment as the winners walked on the dais and spoke a few words as to how they were enthralled at receiving the award and thanked the DIPR and Academy for the honour. On the occasion, the team of

Hebbet Ramakka

was given a thunderous applause. Hebbet Ramakka was adjudged as the Best Regional Film (

Kannada

). The film's technical crew - NR Nanjunde Gowda (director), SA Puttaraju (producer) and

Kavita Raj

(producer) were felicitated.
Team Paddayi, which was adjudged as Best Regional film (Tulu), was also felicitated. Director Abhaya Simha and producer

Nityananda Pai

were honoured.
JM Prahlad, who won the Best Lyricist Award for his song

Mutthu Ratna

in the film March 22 was also felicitated.
