There was enthusiasm in the air when the Clean & Clear Bangalore Times Fresh Face 2015 came to St Joseph’s College of Commerce. Students registered in large numbers, and showed off a variety of skills. Judges Samyukta Hornad and RJ Sudesh were impressed by the talent on display — which included blindfold dancing, mimicry, monologues, beatboxing, ramp walking and singing ghazals, among other things.

The crowd also supported the participants by cheering, clapping and hooting.
Towards the end, many of the shy students, who plucked up the courage after seeing their friends go on stage, also performed. Based on their talent and confidence in the See The Real Me round, students were selected for the Q&A round with the judges. Among the boys, Aditya Narain, who sung a soulful rendition of Ghulam Ali’s ghazal Hungama, was declared the winner. Zubin Imtiaz, who did an impromptu act, was adjudged the first runner-up, which Sharooq Sharieff, who did a B-boying routine, bagged the second runner-up title. Among the girls, the talented Rishi Poovamma, who danced to the song Devil, emerged the winner. Rhea Maria James, who showed off some hot moves to London Thumkada, clinched the first runner-up position, and Ashna Arif, who sung Clarity, was the second runner-up.
