to loud cheers and whistles from the students. Roshmitha, who is a student at the college, was greeted with posters welcoming her and wishing her for the upcoming Miss Universe

. She, then, spoke to the students about her journey and how being disciplined helped her. Her teachers, too, heaped praise on her for being focused and balancing curriculars and co-curriculars with élan. After this, all the students clamored for a selfie, leading to a stampede-like situation, but the ever gracious Roshmitha tried to accommodate as many requests as possible. After clicking pictures with students, teachers and college staff, Roshmitha said, “Though I have many friends here, I did not expect this type of turnout and reaction. I thought about a 100 students will come, but the turnout is more than 2,000. This experience is surreal. I am grateful for the kind of love I am getting.”
