Raising a toast under the stars

Bangalore isn’t known as the Pub City for nothing as the weekend saw the launch of the city’s first bier garten — Sky Brew at Movenpick Spa & Hotel. The city’s ale and hearty lot, so to speak, got together at the hotel and partied under the stars as they sampled their favourite brews and German dishes served up by Chef Stefan Borchardt, at a do hosted by Biswajit Chakraborty, GM of the hotel.
Several members of the Bangalore expat community showed up at this do — like Daniel, Jane, Liz and John — as did Devika, Gopi, Tonria and Mohammed. And when it was time to head home, everyone left after an evening well spent among good friends and conversation.
