Rains pause, rock roars: Def Leppard lights up Bengaluru
Bengaluru’s rock faithful got the perfect Sunday treat as the skies flirted with a light drizzle but held back just enough for the music to take over. The air buzzed with anticipation — and soon, with the unmistakable sound of Def Leppard.
Fans across generations turned up in full force to welcome the legendary British band, proving once again that the city’s love for rock runs deep.
Lead singer Joe Elliott couldn’t help but marvel at the moment, sharing that while the band is 49 years old, this was their first-ever tour of India. He also spoke about the buzz they’ve long heard around Bengaluru’s passionate fan base — something the crowd more than lived up to.
The setlist was a nostalgic ride packed with hits that had the audience singing along. A little rain, a lot of rock, and a night Bengaluru won’t forget anytime soon.
