Michael Learns To Rock turns back time in Bengaluru
For the 90s generation, February 19 was pure nostalgia, taking them back to the days of songs like Sleeping Child and Someday Somewhere playing on loop. Danish band Michael Learns to Rock returned to a packed house in Bengaluru on Thursday evening, with fans singing along, many accompanied by their Gen Z kids. “It’s so lovely to play again on a balmy evening in Bengaluru. We always love coming back here,” the band shared. The band also recalled how India played a pivotal role in their journey. “When our song Actor was set to launch in the US, the agency handling promotions went bankrupt. We thought our career was over. Then we got a call for a tour in India, and it changed everything for us,” they said. Opening with Someday, the trio - Jascha Richter (vo cals/keyboard), Mikkel Lentz (guitar), and Kåre Wanscher (drums) delivered a hit-filled set featuring 25 Minutes, Out of the Blue and Breaking My Heart, before closing the night with crowd favourite Paint My LoveGet the latest entertainment updates from the Times of India, along with the latest Hindi movies, upcoming Hindi movies in 2026 , and Telugu movies.”
