May Queen crowned at Indiranagar Club, Bangalore

Indiranagar Club conducted its May Queen fashion contest last weekend. This event, which has been a part of the club’s history for the last 25 years, saw youngsters in the age group of 16–26 years taking part. In fact, several former winners went on to become actresses and models. This year, the participants wore creations by Ramesh Dembla, and strutted the ramp to MS Sreedhar’s choreography.
Winning all rounds and acing the question and answer contests, Pavithra, Rosy and Radhika emerged victorious. There was also a fashion show, with some of the city’s topmost names walking the ramp. The contest was judged by Sandalwood actresses Nikki Galrani and Meghana Gaonkar, and fashion designer Ramesh. Also seen was actress Roopashri. While the winners received diamond jewellery, all contestants were given gift hampers, to ensure everyone felt special.
