The excitement was palpable on this evening, when personalities from various spheres got to meet best-selling author Chetan Bhagat at this interactive session organised by The Times of India at The Oberoi. Among those who checked in early were Infosys HR director Mohandas Pai, cricket commentator Charu Sharma and Rubi Chakravarti. While the stringent security measures didnt go down well with some, Rubi made a cheeky comment asking the security to confiscate her hubbys cigarette pack.
At the do, Harinder Singh was at her presentable best, exchanging pleasantries over high tea and writer Peter Colaco had the house rocking with some funny remarks.
Another Chetan, our Birugaali hero, was also there chatting with Chaitanya and Ajith Hande. However, the best moment was reserved just ahead of the scheduled start, when Chetan went up to the security gate to meet his book-waving fans. He even asked the personnel to let all of them in. So kind of you, Chetan!
