Golden shaadi!

doweshowbellyad=0; GOLDEN COUPLE: Shilpa and Ganesh (TOI Photo) G, as he���s popularly known, looked every bit the happy groom in his gold sherwani, while Shilpa was resplendent in a pink ghagra. The decor was traditional ��� diyas, temple-style pillars, complete with a Nandi bull.
For a change, the filmi folks showed up early to beat the crowd and get time for a private moment with G.BT spotted the Rajkumars making an early entry, followed by Vishnuvardhan (in white sporting his trademark headband), and Bharathi, Ravichandran who flew in from Mumbai, just for the shaadi.
The all-white theme continued with politico Yediyurappa who put in an appearance and made a quick exit. Priyanka came in minus hubby Upendra ��� (���He���s performing with Guru Kiran at a show in Palace Grounds,��� she told us) grabbed eyeballs in her corporate-style suit.
Indrajit Lankesh who now sports silver rings in his ears (very fundoo we must say!) came with wife Arpita. Rakshitha was seen minus hubby Prem. Jayanth Kaikini, Yograj Bhat, Jayanthi, Jaggesh were some other big name present.
KYA KHANA!
The food was a blend of traditional rice and rasam and Hyderabadi biryani and shahi murgh. ���There goes my diet...I���m already feeling fat,��� said Priyanka digging into hot gulab jamuns and ice-cream.
PHOOLED-YA!
A prominent celeb wondering what would happen to all those hundreds of lovely bouqets that were presented to G. ���I wonder if they���ll keep them or throw them away?��� she said.
SECURITY CHECK
Lots of invitees didn���t bring their cards though it was written on it to do so. So they had to convince the bouncers (new style statement for star weddings!) that they really were invited before they could get in.
MUSIC OF THE MOMENT

LONG QUEUE:
Naturally, there was a lo-oo-ng queue to wish the newly weds. While most waited patiently in line, some biggie stars were whisked up by a shorter route to meet up with the Golden Couple. The perks of stardom ��� sigh!
