The stage was set at Mantri Square Malleswaram for the Clean & Clear Bangalore Times Fresh Face 2012 auditions. And while the judges got ready for the contest, the participants waited with gusto. And as each contestant got on to the stage, one thing was for sure — Bangalore’s youth nurture their talent very seriously. After having captured every shopper's attention, the contestants went on to give exhilarating performances.
Alton Baptist’s beatboxing turned up the bass. And of the many dance performances, Parvathi Jayaram stole hearts as she danced with grace. While the crowd enjoyed themselves, the judges —
Sandalwood actor Tammanah Pasha and RJ Beat Raaja — entertained the crowd with their quirky questions. The stress among the participants was palpable, and one contestant even confused Superman with a comic character when he was asked which comic character he resembled.
In the end, Rohan Cariappa was declared winner among the boys. Mirza Shamey Abbas and Rishav Sikdar, who were declared first and second-runners up. Among the girls, the crown went to Neha Kumari for her gyrating moves. She was followed by Amrita Ravichandran, Srinidhi Shetty and Vijayshree Kalburgi, Vaishali Deepak — who were adjudged joint first and second runners-up.
