FIFA fever hits Bangalore

Friday evening saw many Bangaloreans heading for that one hot place to catch the FIFA 2010 inaugural ceremony. The Xtreme Sports Bar at Indiranagar was packed to the hilt with fans sporting South Africa and Mexico jerseys, depending on which side they were supporting.
Once the match was over, the FIFA fever gave way to some karaoke. Football fans sang their hearts out, especially the official song for the World Cup.Even as Xtreme Sports Bar’s other branch on Bannerghatta turns a year old soon, there’s much in store for the sporty, music-loving Bangalorean.
