Traveling Theatre Project
comes to Bengaluru this Sunday with their production, Dumb Indiganation, directed by
Keatan Jadhav
. The 40-minute-long physical theatre play involves non-verbal performance incorporates aspects of "Physical Theatre" to question our need for outward appearances and the notion of beauty determined by marketing gimmicks and by society. The performance also seeks to raise the diktat by religion when it comes to the human body. And what does exactly happen when they say it's pleasing to some eyes? Why do the innocent eyes overcome with pain due to the eyes that stare? The makers search this difficult answer thorugh the play, which runs for forty minutes
People can enjoy the performance on both Saturday and Sunday at 7.30 pm at Beru Art Space and Nritarutya Studio.
